NOW OPEN: WINDERMERE JETTY MUSEUM OF BOATS, STEAM AND STORIES

On 23 March 2019, Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats, Steam and Stories opened its doors and, with them, a window onto 200 years of boats, boating, boat building and social history in the Lake District, thanks to Real Studios’ storytelling and display skills.
To realise this £20m project, principally funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Real Studios worked closely with both the client Lakeland Arts and architects Carmody Groarke to shape the narratives, clarify audiences and organise the form and display strategy for the collection within the main boathouse structure.
