WALTHAMSTOW WETLANDS NOW OPEN

Real Studios' exhibition in the visitor centre for Walthamstow Wetlands is now open, enhancing the listed Marine Engine House with displays on local wildlife and industrial heritage. The centrepiece of the site's interpretation is a spectacular "Water and Life" sculpture designed by Real and co-created by local groups and schools.

The Engine House, part of the 10-year, £10.6 million HLF project, acts as the springboard from which visitors explore the wider site - enjoying and learning about the Wetlands distinctive built and natural heritage, of this 211-hectare wildlife haven in the heart of London.
