REMEMBRANCE EXHIBITION FOR NMA
The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire is the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance and home to the iconic Armed Forces Memorial. As part of its evolution into a world-class visitor site, it has been supported by Real Studios to create a permanent exhibition which will set the Arboretum's compelling narratives within the wider cultural heritage of remembrance, along with exterior interpretation around the site's 300+ memorials. Real Studios' treatment will celebrate the tranquillity of the site's natural environment, while revealing the complex human stories of the groups or individuals, both military and civilian, who are commemorated here. The mixed-media treatment will include models, interactives and a commissioned art work by Helen Marshall.
The exhibition forms part of the Arboretum's new Remembrance Centre which will open in Autumn 2016.
