REAL STUDIOS WINS DYLAN THOMAS PROJECT

Real Studios are now working on a dynamic new interpretation of Dylan Thomas's life and work. Following a competitive tender for the City and Council of Swansea, the project, set to open in 2014, Thomas's centenary year, will form part of an HLF Stage 2.

Replacing the Centre's existing exhibition, Real Studios' multi-layered presentation will explore the many myths and facts around Wales's foremost literary figure, using a three-pronged narrative structure: Dylan Thomas the man, Dylan Thomas the writer, and Dylan Thomas the performer. Content, objects and imagery will be arranged in such a way as to ensure enrichment and entertainment for the casual visitor as well as the Thomas aficionado.
