BOWIE EXHIBITION DESIGN BREAKS NEW GROUND

Real Studios is collaborating with AV designers 59 Productions on an extraordinary exhibition experience for the V&A's forthcoming celebration of one of the UK's most iconic performing artists, David Bowie. 'David Bowie is' will draw on the eclectic inspirations that have fuelled the performer's many incarnations, both in content and design.

More than 300 objects, including original, costumes, set designs and album artwork, have been brought together by the V&A's Theatre and Performance curators. These have been woven into Real Studios' atmospheric and provocative sets and 59 Productions' ground-breaking AV installations in ways that will place the visitor at the centre of Bowie's creative processes during key points of his career, highlighting his role as musical innovator and cultural icon over five decades.
