VOYAGERS LAUNCHES AT MARTIME MUSEUM
Real Studios' dynamic design for the National Maritime Museum's Voyagers gallery has been singled out for praise. Set within the new Sammy Ofer wing, Voyagers blends sophisticated AV, text and artefact to intensify human and historical interest.
A stunning 'wave' sculpture greets visitors as they enter, luring them into the space. The rolling AV projection is a representation of the historic and maritime themes contained in the whole museum. A massive 28-foot-long artefact wall where the Museum's world-class collection is arranged by theme and personal narrative.
Kevin Sumption, director of the Museum's exhibitions and programmes said: 'The originality of concept and interpretation approach from Real Studios has ensured we have a gallery that delivers a dynamic and high impact visitor experience.'
