RICS 150th anniversary exhibition
Client: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) commissioned us to celebrate its 150th anniversary with an inspiring exhibition within its iconic Parliament Square headquarters, designed by leading Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse.
Our design and build scheme developed and delivered the narratives, interpretation, design and construction in just four months. Exhibits and artefacts are set within the original bookshelves and on new display tables in the reference library. They lay out the RICS founding principles, key members and technologically advanced involvement in buildings, education and infrastructure around the world. Artefacts range from a prized 17th century world atlas, medals and chains of office to a drone and other surveying equipment. We designed the handsome and robust scheme to accommodate a series of events throughout the year.
